ITALY
ITALY: A round of comments from the Italian Economy Minister Giovanni Tria
revealed little in the way of new information. Tria reiterated that "no-one in
the Italian gov't wants to leave the euro." Tria went on to note that the
government is set to "start its sweeping economic program with the 2019 budget."
He also stressed that basic income & tax cuts must go `hand in hand'. Tria also
attempted to soothe fears by noting that the government "won't worsen the
structural budget situation."
