US TSYS SUMMARY
US TSYS SUMMARY: After being bounced around by better French then poor German
PMIs this morning, USTs are little moved overnight with TY1 futures down half a
tick to 129-27.
- The main focus this afternoon will be durable good orders. Our data team note
that the GM-UAW strike which began on September 15 may weigh on the headline
number, although this may be partially offset by rising Boeing orders.
- There will also be focus on the ECB, although in what is expected to be a
largely uneventful meeting there may not be any increased volatility.
- We are in the Fed blackout period and little is expected on the US-China trade
front today.
- 2y yields down -1.0bp today at 1.574%
- 5y yields down -1.0bp today at 1.577%
- 10y yields down -0.9bp today at 1.756%
- 30y yields down -1.3bp today at 2.242%
