SHORT-STERLING: After yesterday's slightly more hawkish Bank of England
Inflation Report, short sterling futures have continued their moves lower.
- Dec-18 touched 99.10 earlier today for the first time since late August.
- Dec-20 has found some support just ahead of the 50-dma/50% retracement from
Oct highs to lows at 98.597/590.
- We have seen similar moves across the 1-3y section of the curve.
- The curve has also been steepening but still remains some way off the
steepness of Oct 10.
