AUSSIE-KIWI: AUD/NZD has climbed 16 pips thus far and last deals at NZ$1.0642,
after a knee-jerk spike to session highs of NZ$1.0663 upon the release of
Chinese econ data, as 2018 GDP fell in line with exp. at 6.6% Y/Y, while Dec
industrial output & retail sales came in firmer than exp.
- Bulls keep an eye on the nearby NZ$1.0653, where the rate peaked Friday, and a
clean break above would open up the 100-DMA at NZ$1.0722. Conversely, bears look
for a fall below Friday's low of NZ$1.0616, which would allow them to challenge
the 55-DMA at NZ$1.0583.
