AUSSIE: AUD/USD fell 30 pips overnight, as post-RBNZ kiwi weakness spilled over
into its Antipodean cousin. As a reminder, the RBNZ left its OCR unch. at 1.75%,
but signalled that the next rate move is likely to be down.
- AUD/USD last deals at $0.7105, hovering above the psychological $0.7100 after
a brief look below. A clean breach of the figure would open up the 21-DMA at
$0.7087. Meanwhile, bulls need to retake the 50-DMA/55-DMA at $0.7125/31 before
attempting a move at the upper Bollinger band (2%) located at $0.7142, where the
rate peaked in early Asia-Pac trade.
- Australian focus falls on private sector credit data due Friday, while any
fallout from the Sino-U.S. trade talks will also provide interest.
