Aug Diesel Exports Increase from Leading Refining Hubs


Diesel exports are increasing from leading refining hubs, including the US Gulf Coast, NW Europe, the Med, and Southeast and Northeast Asia according to Vortexa.

  • Exports reached 6mbd over July/August, up by 1.1mbd or 23% from a low point at the beginning of the year and up 440kbpd or 8% versus 2019.
  • Exports of all other clean products from these refining hubs are moving sideways so far this year despite increasing refinery runs.
