AUSSIE BONDS: Aussie bonds both took a slight bid at the start of the SFE open
as sources reported Nov IB's were hit 4x, the 3-Year contract was last flat on
the session at 97.850 and the 10-Year was last down 1 tick at 97.145. On SYCOM
the Aussie benchmark contracts moved alongside Tsys, dipping on the U.S.
September jobs report, which had a very weak hurricane-affected -33K NFP (first
negative reading since 2010) but also a 0.5% Average Hourly Earnings and a lower
4.2% jobless rate. Both the 3-Year and the 10-Year contracts then came up on a
safe-haven bounce after Russian Lawmakers returned from Pyongyang, N. Korea,
announcing they were told N. Korea are preparing a long-range missile test which
could hit the U.S. and 'soon.'
- Yield are up across the curve, the 3-Year was last up 0.4bp and the 10-Year
last up 1.1bp.
- Australian foreign reserves are out 0630BST/1630AEST.
