AUSSIE BONDS
AUSSIE BONDS: Aussie Bonds edged lower at this week's open, with a ~6.0K 3-Year
future seller at 97.850 driving early price action, before Bond futures regained
some poise.
- The domestic 3-/10-Year cash yield differential trades at ~65.0bp, as the long
end underperforms by ~1.5bp on the latest sell off, driven by Friday's report
re: Trump asking his cabinet to draft a potential China trade deal & a strong
U.S. labour market report.
- 3-Month BBSW fixed ~0.4bp higher with the Bill strip trading 1 to 3 ticks
lower last.
- The AOFM will tender A$500mn of the March 21 2047 ACGB at the top of the hour,
with focus set to move quickly to tomorrow's RBA MonPol decision & Friday's
Statement on Monetary Policy.
