AUSSIE BONDS: Aussie bonds have had a quiet session but continue to trend higher
in spite of the rally in US and local stocks. The 10-year note trades at 97.455,
with yesterday's high of 97.470 within touching distance.
- The 3s-10s spread has continued its decline, dropping 1.3bps on the day to
trade at 53.20bps.
- The AU-US 10-year spread continues to push lower trading at -32.6 bps, as does
the real yield spread, which sits at -11.1bps, close to record lows and continue
to fundamentally undermine the Aussie.
