AUSSIE BONDS: Aussie Bonds have pushed higher and consolidated at/around best
levels, with 3-Year Bond futures trading at 97.795 (+0.5 tick), while 10-Year
Bond futures trade at 97.210 (+0.5 tick), ticking higher alongside US Tsys as
Iran-Israeli tensions simmered, with reports of missiles being fired between
Israel & Iranian assets in Syria.
- The domestic 3-/10-Year yield spread operates at 60.5bp (-012bp) while the
AU/US 10-Year spread is 0.3bp tighter at -21.1bp, back from early session
tights.
- 3-Month BBSW fixed 1.5bp lower at 1.940% today, with the white & red Bill
contracts last unchanged to a tick higher. Large buyside flow had been noted in
the front end of the strip in early dealing, with sources highlighting some
receiving in November OIS, probably in lieu of the "dovish" RBNZ.
- Repo rates held steady.
