AUSSIE BONDS: Aussie bonds seeing very sluggish thin trade with an empty data
calendar from the region. Curve bear steepens, tracking the moves in UST's
earlier. 
- Positive risk sentiment weighing on the short end, ASX 200 is up around 7.5
points at 6069. Move lower unwinds some of the rally seen in late December.
Market ignoring weaker CoreLogic home price data yesterday that showed prices
dropped in Q4 2017, the first drop in 2 years. MNI sources note that modest drop
is being interpreted as a soft landing for the housing market which could soothe
some fears of a crash and allow RBA tightening down the road.
- 3-/10-Year spread last 1.9bp wider at 57.1bp.
