- A sharp drop in gold witnessed the rate fall towards $0.7920.
- Broad based dollar demand following comments from Cohn on BBG TV and gold
continuing to fall witnessed the rate print a new intra-day low of $0.7907.
- Euro-dollar stops added fresh weight to make a show under $0.7900. Low print
of $0.7891
- The dollar pared back some of its gains, as profit takers emerged. As the rate
grinded towards $0.7930 into the NY close.
