- Minor pullback off the high ($0.7931) encountered willing dip buyers ahead of
$0.7915 to consolidate $0.7920/25 in early NY
- Broad based dollar pressure, following a drop in US Tsys yields, witnessed the
rate grind towards $0.7930.
- As commodities continued to rise, combined with US Tsys yields falling. The
rate printed a new intra-day high of $0.7938, before meeting supply from black
boxes and slipping towards $0.7925.
- As oil reversed and turned negative, the Aussie followed suit, with the rate
dropping to pullback lows of $0.7911.
- A spike in oil and a wave of aud/yen demand, witnessed the rate jump to a new
intra-day high of $0.7944. The par met resistance and slipped towards $0.7930
into the NY close.
