AUSSIE-YEN: AUD/JPY continues its pullback from yesterday's best levels, printed
after a decent rally driven by broader risk-on flows. With the rate sitting at
Y71.48, 7 pips worse off, bears look to a deeper retreat, past May 21 high of
Y71.09. Should the pair sink below that level, bears could target the 100-DMA at
Y70.32. Meanwhile, the 200-DMA at Y72.12 remains in sight and a jump above there
would expose the 76.4% retracement of the Dec 27 - Mar 19 sell-off at Y72.62.
- Focus turns to Australian Q1 construction work done today, with little of note
on the Japanese docket.
