AUSSIE-YEN: AUD/JPY last Y80.90, 10 pips higher on the day, as the Nikkei 225
recouped initial losses and trades almost unchanged, weighing on the yen. U.S.
equity index future also don't help JPY, as they have traded in the green thus
far. Meanwhile, the Aussie might have garnered some strength from positive
signals re: Sino-U.S. trade relations.
- Initial resistance noted at the 100-DMA at Y81.15, followed by Y81.29
representing yesterday's peak. Conversely, initial support is located at
yesterday's lows of Y80.67 and a break below would allow bears to gain some
downside impetus.
