AUSSIE-YEN: It has been a slow start for the risk-barometer cross, the pair
holding a narrow Y87.07 to Y87.18 range. RBA's SoMP provides the event risk for
the session, Westpac notes, RBA forecasts will now be a point estimate to the
nearest quarter point rather than a range. They expect unchanged 2018 and 2019
forecasts (mid-point of range), but 2017 growth to be revised up to 2.75% and
inflation down to 1.75%. Below yesterday's Y86.79 low support is located at
Y86.60, the level marks the 76.4% fib retracement on Y85.45 to Y90.31 rise, a
break to open Y86.03 (200-dma), while hourly resistance is noted at Y87.37.
