AUSSIE-YEN: The risk-barometer cross opened in Asia at Y87.42 at the upper side
of the Y86.98 to Y87.47 range witnessed yesterday, where upbeat China Trade
data, China imports from Australia surged by 25% in October and helped to
underpin the Antipodean. Chinese CPI/PPI for October provide the main event
risks to the session, headline inflation is expected to quicken to 1.8%, from
1.6% prior, while PPI is expected at 6.6%, down from 6.9% last. Bears remain in
the box-seat, with a fourth close below the 100-dma, the cross vulnerable to a
test of the 200-dma at Y86.03. Initial resistance lies at Y87.53-66 (50%/61.8%
fib on Y88.10 to Y86.94 decline, while hourly support is found at Y87.07.
