AUSSIE BONDS: Australian 10-year yields have continued to push higher, putting
the upper end of the major trading range under pressure. However, the recent
rise in Australian 10-year yields has not kept pace with the US yield rise,
leaving the 10-year spread close to historically negative levels. The 10-year
future has remained under pressure extending the downtrend following this week's
break below the April lows and putting the focus on the mid-February lows at
97.02. AUDUSD remained in a very tight range, although AUDJPY is maintaining the
recent positive momentum, purely driven by JPY weakness.
