Baltic Urals Crude Exports to Hit 5-Month High

Urals crude loadings from the Russian Baltic Ports of Primorsk and Ust-Luga are expected to hit 1.68m b/d in October, the highest since May, according to a loading programme reported by Bloomberg.

  • This would total 7.1m mt for October, compared to 6.3m mt in September.
  • October loadings from Primorsk are scheduled to be 3.9m mt, or 922k b/d. This compares to 3.3m mt or 806k b/d in September.
  • Loadings from Ust Luga are set for 3.2m mt in October, equivalent to 757k b/d. In September, loadings were 3m mt or 733k b/d.
  • The full month loading programme for the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk is not yet available, according to Bloomberg, although at least 1.96m mt of Urals crude exports are planned for October. In September 2.5m mt of Urals was shipped from the port.
