BanRep Expected To Keep Rates Unchanged Monday

COLOMBIA
  • A reminder that Colombia’s central bank meeting will take place on Monday where all analysts are in agreement that BanRep will stand pat at 13.25%.
  • Finance Minister Bonilla said that he now expects the central bank to begin lowering borrowing costs in September and has detailed that Colombia could cut interest rates by 200 basis points this year from the current level.
