BCCh Minutes, USDCLP Hits 4-week Low Below 840

  • Lower treasury yields on Thursday contributed to a strong move lower for the greenback and in turn, the Chilean Peso soared around 2% to trade at the best levels for 4-weeks. USDCLP closed at 837.33. Despite moving average studies remaining in bull mode, the 20-day EMA has been breached which places the focus on the next support at 832.82, the 50-day EMA.
  • 1330BST/0830ET - Chile’s central bank publishes minutes of its last monetary policy meeting.
