Bernanke says it's "not a slam dunk" whether the BOE should publish a rate path

On whether the BOE should make rate projections. Bernanke says it's "not a slam dunk" decision. He says that compared to the Scandi central banks there is a bigger Committee (9 members instead of Scandi 5/6 members).

He says there can also be disadvantages as sometimes the Bank may not want to give forward guidance.

Bernanke then says that he expects there will be a review of whether to do this within the next couple of years and that he would be happy to continue to consult with the BOE on this issue if requested.

In terms of wider reform - he says that Lombardelli and the rest of the leadership are keen to "get things done" and implement the changes in the report.
