Biden Campaign Calls For Second Debate To Be Moved To Oct 22

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden's election campaign has called for the second presidential debate to be moved from October 15 to October 22 so, in their words, "the President is not able to evade accountability."

  • The Commission on Presidential Debates has made the second debate, due to take place on October 15, a virtual event due to the outbreak of COVID-19 at the White House.
  • Trump said he would not be involved in any virtual debate.
  • The Biden campaign has said their candidate would seek to "find an appropriate place to take questions from voters directly" on October 15 in lieu of the presidential town hall.
