Biden, Kishida Discuss North Korea Missile Launch At G7

Wires and social media carrying comments from WH official: "President Biden met with Prime Minister Kishida on the sidelines of the G7 today. The two leaders discussed DPRK's launch of a long-range ballistic missile, which both leaders strongly condemned, stressed the need for diplomacy, and agreed to continue working together to hold the DPRK accountable. President Biden conveyed to PM Kishida our rock solid commitment to the security of Japan and the Republic of Korea, thanked for PM Kishida for Japan's robust response to Putin's war of choice in Ukraine , and agreed on the need for continued unity going forward."
