BOE: Leaves rates, QE stock unchanged in majority 7-2 vote at Jan meet

--BOE says reinforced policy may be needed if no growth follow-through
--BOE says further ahead in line recovery may see modest tightening

The BOE voted by a majority of 7-2 to leave Bank Rate unchanged, voting 
unanimously to leave QE unchanged. Leaving all options open, the BOE 
said easing may be needed if there was no follow-through from recent 
positive indicators, adding that, further ahead, modest tightening may 
be needed in th recovery is broadly in line. The BOE sees inflation 
below the 2%-target throughout 2020 and most of 2021, and expects growth 
to be supported by rising global activity, a decline in Brexit 
uncertainty and government's announced spending.
