Brent failed yesterday to hold above the former trendline resistance drawn off
the Jul 11 high and breached on Sep 5. Yesterday's low of $58.92 marks an
important intraday support. A break would sinal scope for a deeper pullback and
expose $57.92, the base of a bull channel drawn off the Aug 7 low. A channel
breakout would likely result in a clearer downtrend. On the upside, a move above
this weeks high of $63.78 is needed to reinstate a bullish case.
