BRL Holds In Well Relative To EM Peers, Campos Neto Speaks

  • Considering the move for EM peers yesterday, USDBRL held a relatively tight range and closed just a little higher on the session around 5.06. BCB Governor Campos Neto took an opportunity to deny that he had ever suggested slowing the pace of monetary easing, reiterating that the Copom believe the 50bp pace remains appropriate.
