China Issues First Fuel Export Quotas for 2024 In Line with 2023

China has released the first batch of fuel export quotas for 2024 almost unchanged from the first allocation issued in 2023 according to industry consultant JLC.

  • The allocation is for a combined 19m tons with 14.4m tons given in general trade form and 4.6m tons in tolling arrangements.
  • Sinopec got 7.44m tons
  • Petrochina got 5.78m tons
  • CNOOC 1.7m tons
  • Sinochem 2.06m tons
  • ZPC 1.73m tons
  • Norinco 230k tons
  • CNAF 60k tons
  • The country has also issued the first batch low-sulfur fuel oil export quotas of 8m tons and flat to a year ago.
