Chinese flight tracking shows domestic flight activity trailing lower into early March after surging activity into early Feb as lockdown restrictions eased.

  • Total flights +22.58% from last year
  • Domestic flights +24.59% for last year
  • International flights -12.7% from last year
  • A number of banks have placed $100/bbl forecast on oil this year, a large part of which is being based upon international Chinese air demand recovering, which is expected to improve further this month.
