FED: Citi has changed its call for the July FOMC, now looking for a 50bps cut,
joining UBS and Morgan Stanley in that camp.
- Says Citi: dovish comments by Clarida and Williams Thursday "has tipped the
balance towards easing 50bps and so we have changed our call for July. Instead
of previously expecting 25bps rate cut in July and another in September, we now
expect the Fed to cut by 50bp in July and keep an open mind about further easing
later in the year."
