Cold Weather Forecast Across US Driving Henry Hub Increase

US Henry Hub trading higher with below normal temperatures expected across the US in the 6-14 forecast according to NOAA. Front month is trading up from the lowest since September 2020 at 1.957$/mmbtu on Friday after healthy supplies and high gas storage levels pushed prices down.

    • US Natgas MAY 23 up 4.2% at 2.2$/mmbtu
  • Domestic demand is back to near normal levels at 69.5bcf/d today after dipping lower late last week.
  • Natural gas production was slightly down on last week at 100 bcf/d compared to the average of 100.3bcf/d so far this month.
  • Flows to LNG export terminals are today estimated at 14.73bcf/d according to Bloomberg just off from the high of 14.92bcf/d seen yesterday.
  • Export flows to Mexico are today estimated at 5.3bcf/d.
