CPC Flows Hit By Western Sanctions: Transneft

The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) should pump 50-51 million tonnes of oil in 2022 according to Transneft president Nikolai Tokarev.

  • "They had planned [to pump] 63 million tonnes, though they are now somewhere around 50 million tonnes, probably 51 million tonnes, for the year," Tokarev said.
  • Tokarev noted that the CPC has experienced complications in recent months with the supply of equipment and the provision of services in order to repair CPC loading terminals because of western sanctions.
