  • The new fiscal framework may consider spending caps or primary result targets, or both, but it must meet the principles of simplicity, enforceability, and flexibility.
  • Credibility requires not only a fiscal rule but also a governance environment in which one of the important tools is the permanent evaluation of expenditure. In addition to controlling the level of expenditure, it is necessary to improve its quality. In this expenditure evaluation, public policies and tax breaks are among the priorities.
  • According to her, there is a positive sign from the federal government when it promised to bring forward the proposal of the new fiscal framework to March, well before the legal deadline of August.
