Dunkerque LNG Sendout Falls Again On Strike

LNG

Sendouts at the Dunkerque LNG terminal fell again on Thursday, after recovering in the days prior, as a force majeure was declared at the terminal on 23-24 March, restricting delivery capacity, according to Fluxys and Bloomberg.

  • Sendout at Dunkerque was at a maximum of 69.9 GWh/d on Thursday, dropping off from 544.8 GWh/d on Wednesday according to Bloomberg.
  • Force majeure action is expected to last until early Friday, restricting delivery capacity at the site to 70 GWh/d, Fluxys said.
  • A general meeting will be held with workers on Friday to decide if the strike will be extended, a union source said.
  • Elengy’s three LNG terminals in France will be offline until 28 March because of strike action.
