policymakers` pushback against QE restart, and continued risk-on tone.
- ECB's Lautenschlager told MNI she did 'not see the need for a re-start of
APP', adding to other voices (incl Knot's this week) on that front.
- Bunds and Gilts weakened early, though now are off worst levels.
- ECB`s Rehn scheduled to appear on Panel in Finland at 1000BST.
- UK DMO released its updated remit: 10 outright gilt auctions will be held in
Sep; one gilt syndication in November.
- Little new on Brexit front; at 1000BST, expecting a Scottish court ruling that
could block the government from proroguing parliament.
- Data this morning includes UK lending/M4; Italy HICP, EU jobs / inflation.
- French flash Aug HICP earlier was in line with exp. Latest futures levels:
* Sep Bund futures (RX) down 16 ticks at 178.78 (L: 178.63 / H: 179.05)
* Sep BTP futures (IK) down 5 ticks at 145.89 (L: 145.43 / H: 145.98)
* Sep OAT futures (OA) down 23 ticks at 170.19 (L: 170.05 / H: 170.51)
* Dec Gilt futures (G) down 21 ticks at 134.63 (L: 134.55 / H: 134.8)
