EGBS: Spreads To Bunds Little Changed, Italian & EU Supply Eyed

EGBS

EGB spreads to Bunds little changed this morning with crosswinds from a sell off in core FI and firmer equities offsetting.

  • Most EGB curves see contained parallel shifts higher in yields/light bear steepening.
  • Greece the exception, bear flattening.
  • BTP and EU syndications provide the notable issuance for the region today, watch for hedging around pricing.
  • Elsewhere, Germany comes to market via conventional auction. Long end Dutch supply is now in the rear-view.
