Free AccessERG Voting Against Windsor Framework; Tele-DUP Won't Return To Power-Sharing
As expected, the hard-line Brexiteer European Research Group (ERG) of backbench Conservative MPs has stated that it 'strongly recommends' to its members that it vote against the gov't in today's motion on a statutory instrument related to the 'Windsor framework' UK-EU compromise on the Northern Ireland protocol. ERG chair Mark Francois MP stated that the ERG's 'star chamber' of legal experts “recommended to the group that we should vote against” this afternoon and “no one present spoke out against that”.

- Christopher Hope at the Telegraph: "DUP leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson has told the ERG today that the DUP will not rejoin power-sharing in Northern Ireland, Tory MPs say." The DUP not rejoining the power-sharing executive would be a major blow against the Windsor framework, as restoring devolved gov't was a key (if not the key) aim of the compromise.
