Escravos Cargo Diverts Back to Nigeria

The Suezmax Aquahonour, loaded with Nigerian Escravos has diverted away from Europe and is heading towards Lagos and Nigeria’s new Dangote refinery according to Bloomberg vessel tracking.

  • It loaded the cargo March 13 then signaled for Gibraltar before diverting off the Ivory Coast March 15 and is now singaling Lagos.
  • Vitol offered 950k bbl of Escravos for end-March delivery to Europe on S&P Global’s Platts pricing window earlier this month; the cargo was to be discharged from Aquahonor according to Bloomberg.
