EURO-YEN: EUR/JPY last Y128.41, edging higher today after falling almost 70 pips
Tuesday as Asia-Pac trade sees JPY in the red against every other G10 currency.
- Yesterday was a bad day for equities as European & U.S. stocks tumbled.
Asia-Pacific equities & U.S. index futures started today's session on the back
foot, but U.S. equity futures have turned positive, with regional benchmarks
back from session lows, putting a modest bid into JPY pairs in the process, as
U.S. yields edge higher.
- Bears need to return to yesterday's low at Y128.01 & move through that level
before shifting focus to the Nov 15 low at Y127.77. On the upside, bulls look to
the nearby 21-DMA at Y128.55 before trying to jump back onto the Y129 handle and
retake Y129.04, where the rate peaked Tuesday.
