EURO-DOLLAR: EUR/USD fell largely into line with the broader USD moves observed
on Monday, hitting a low of $1.1530 around the London lunch hour, before
recovering in the afternoon, last dealing at ~$1.1560.
- Despite Monday afternoon's attempted rebound the bearish trend remains intact,
leaving the way open for a decline towards the June 21 lows at $1.1509. A
further break below here would suggest a resumption of the long term decline to
challenge the $1.1500 psychological level. The bulls will need to stage a
recovery through $1.1656 to stabilise the near-term outlook.
- There is lack of tier one economic releases in the EZ this week, with
Tuesday's focus set to fall on German trades & industrial production data.
