Familiar Rhetoric From Japan FinMin On JPY

Japan FinMin Suzuki has hit the news wires again, with renewed warnings that excessive FX moves aren't desirable. The authorities are watching FX moves with a high sense of urgency, and won't rule out any options. This is very much in line with recent comments made by officials and Suzuki stated he had nothing new to add on currencies.

  • USD/JPY hasn't reacted much but does sit below session highs. We were last near 148.90. Earlier highs were at 148.95.
