Finland 2022 funding plans

EUROZONE ISSUANCE
  • 2022 gross borrowing requirement E28.55bln (from E6.912bln net borrowing requirement and E21.638bln of redemptions).
  • Around 60% to be funded with long-term maturities and the rest bills.
  • This is in line with the previous investor presentation that saw E10bln of RFGB syndications, E5.6bln RFGBs sold via auction, E1.5bln EMTNs and around E11.5ln of T-bills.
  • Three new RFGB benchmarks expected to be launched in 2022: a 5-year, a 10-year and a long bond subject to market conditions (15-30 year). The first new RFGB will be launched via syndication in Q1 (MNI expects February).
  • Q1 RFGB auctions: 18 January and 15 March for E1.0-1.5bln each.
  • Q1 RFTB auctions: 8 February and 8 March for E1-2bln each.
