Finland To Start Delayed 1.6GW Nuclear Reactor Next Week

Finland’s TVO is scheduled to start operations at its 1.6GW Olkiluoto 3 nuclear reactor on Monday, 14 years behind schedule, a TVO spokesperson said.

  • “All major tests have been successfully completed”, after a 13-months trial, the spokesperson said.
  • The reactor could cover 14% of Finland’s power demand.
