Finnish Authorities Located Damaged Area in Baltic Pipeline

Finnish authorities have located the damaged area in the Balticconnector undersea gas pipeline that was noticed on 8 October, the government’s press office said, cited by Bloomberg.

  • Prime Minister Petteri Orpo and representatives of other authorities are scheduled to hold a conference today at 17:30PM local time (15:30BST).
  • Earlier reports stated a probe into the leak of the pipeline is proceeding on the assumption that it was a deliberate act of destruction, according to people familiar with the matter.
