First data due at 6:30BST / 7:30CET

EUROZONE DATA
  • It's an early start for today's busy day of European data with the first print of French GDP for Q2, French consumer spending and German NRW CPI all due at half past.
  • French GDP is expected to print 0.1%Q/Q and 0.4%Y/Y.
  • Note that the NRW data has been a few minutes late the past couple of months so we might be waiting up to 5 minutes for that. Although there is no consensus for the regional prints, the national (non-HICP) print is expected to increase by 0.3%M/M and 6.2%Y/Y - so any surprises versus these levels could be market moving.
