Fmr Snr. Advisor To PM Dom Cummings Claims Ownership Of 'Crucial Covid Doc'

Former senior advisor to Prime Minister Boris Johnson has made a significant claim in a tweet that he is in possession of a 'crucial historical document from covid decision-making'. He then asks whether he should present it to a parliamentary select committee next week, publish it on his blog, or auction the document and give the proceeds to a COVID-19 families charity.

  • Cummings is set to appear next week before a select committee to provide oral evidence on the gov'ts handling of the pandemic. Since his last appearance before a parliamentary committee, Cummings' relationship with the PM has soured considerably, with the prospect that his former advisor could reveal previously private details about No.10's handling of the pandemic to the detriment of Johnson's stability.
