Focus is squarely on the US data today

BUNDS
  • Bund has extended further small gains overnight and stays underpinned into the Cash open, following the leaning Dovish ECB, but the 10yr Yield failed to break this week's low print, although might get challenged when it is quoted today (2.27% is Monday's low).
  • Early small support is at 134.61 opening gap, and downside traction will see momentum to 134.36 initially.
  • Resistance is at today's high of 134.95, and break through the latter, opens to 135.24, followed by 135.50.
  • For the 10yr Yield, support would be circa the 2.254% area.
  • There's no real Tier 1 data out of Europe, French Consumer Confidence should have limited impact. All the focus is on the US PCE deflator this afternoon.
  • ECB will release survey of Professional forecasters.
  • SPEAKERS: ECB Panetta, Simkus, Kazaks, Vujcic.
