UK: Following on from 0820GMT bullet, the gov'ts plan for the COVID-19 'delay'

phase itself comes in separate phases. The initial part of delay, 'social

distancing' would extend to individuals showing even mild symptoms of illness

being instructed to self-isolate. 

- It would not, immediately, include the more extreme measures of banning mass

events (sports games, concerts, festivals) or closing schools. 

- There seems to be no plan for the gov't to enforce home working, but its

Action Plan says that part of the 'delay' phase would be "encouraging greater

home working", with the final decision likely to come down to individual

businesses weighing up the impact of home working vs. the impact of potential

contagion among its workforce.
