CHINA DATA: Foreign direct investment (FDI) into China in August rose 11.4% to
USD10.43 billion, the Ministry of Commerce said in a statement to reporters on
Thursday.
- Total FDI in the first eight months increased 6.1% to the equivalent of
USD86.5 billion;
- The number of new overseas-invested businesses in China in August gained
126.8% to 6,092;
- Overseas direct investment in non-financial assets rose 7.8% to USD74.09
billion in the first eight months;
- Investment into OBOR countries gained 12% in Jan-Aug to USD9.58 billion
