France’s New FLNG To Boost Gas Import Capacity by 12%

France’s planned floating LNG terminal at the port of Le Havre is expected to boost the country’s gas import capacity by 12%, or 20TWh, over a normal winter, TSO GRTgaz said.

  • The new FLNG will have a capacity of 5bcm/year and is scheduled to come online in September, the TSO said.
  • France’s four existing terminals have a total capacity of 34.5bcm/yr according to Montelnews.
